Field Outing - Steyning Downland Scheme

Bottom of Mouse Lane, Steyning at 6:30pm.Junction of Horsham Rd and Hight St. (///unfit.exonerate.cooking)

Leader: Tony Benton. The walk is likely to last for at least 90 minutes; and includes a few sections of downland that are undulating (or even steep). We are likely to be treated to a short talk about the project from one of the staff and potentially some of the schemes volunteers. The walk is on downland; can be muddy; and involves some slopes (a few steep but short). We will likely encounter cattle. There is a short stay car park on the High Street; free after 6pm. There is also some limited on-street parking on the High Street; close to the Star Inn; again free after 6pm. Bus number 2 connects Steyning with Shoreham and Brighton; approximately one bus per hour
